The student support and flexibility for different circumstances is incredible. I dont know anything about the student union or student life as most of my course has been studied remotely.

Lots of different facilities on site to use such as the library. Lots of clubs of choices to give a variety of students a choose and what they are intrested in

Amazing location, hugely passionate lecturers. Facilities lacking for amount of students and departments are very fragmented and don’t speak to each other enough.

I have loved studying at Hartpury both as an undergrad and a postgrad, the lecturers really care about students as individuals and have great industry experience. I learned so much and massively gained in confidence, and am excited to continue with postgrad study :)

Best - small class sizes means good debates and discussion so enhanced learning and good communication with lecturers so they learn our names and the experience feels personable. Overall the level of education and module delivery has been excellent and assessments are really applicable to real life- improving motivation to complete and also making the course highly relevant. Further, the practicals utilising the amazing animal collection have really enhanced the learning experience and provided good practical experience. Worst - some issues with timing in the second module with less opportunity to discuss. Some issues with lack of preparation during assessments for the potential impact of covid-19, luckily I did not experience this myself but this has been stressful for others. Communication has also not been the best. The worst part about it is the lack of student experience external to academic learning - on weekends (which is when the majority of lectures have been held) all facilities are closed and even catering facilities close early - in some cases we have missed out on hot food because they have closed after our morning session has finished. This makes me feel invalid as a student and not cared for. Also many issues with transport, with buses promised and then taken away on Sundays. Again, this has not impacted me personally but has been particularly problematic for international students who do not have their own transport (and the campus in sort of in the middle of no where!)
