The hospitality and tourism industry is a vibrant sector in the UK and one which makes a significant contribution to job creation and the national economy. This vocationally inspired foundation degree in partnership with Ulster University will provide you with the opportunity to develop high-quality business acumen and expertise to provide excellent guest satisfaction, along with the confidence to motivate and develop others putting your leadership and management skills into action.
This two-year programme, validated by Ulster University, is ideal for those who seek a professional career in organisations from hotels to event management, business development to marketing companies and for those wishing to achieve recognised higher level qualification in Hospitality Management.
The course includes a compulsory six-month period of work-based learning. Assessment is carried out using a range of methods. Students are required to supply their own front of house attire at the cost of approximately £50.00 (Front of house: black dress trousers, black shirt and black dress shoes). Students will be required to contribute approximately £20 towards the cost of educational visits on this programme.
