COURSE INFORMATION
Theatre production in the UK is currently undergoing an unprecedented period of growth with stage managers and theatre technicians in high demand. The theatre, events, festivals, and music industries, as well as the new National Theatre of Scotland, provide an ever-increasing variety of career options.
This practical, hands-on course offers the opportunity to continue your studies in technical theatre in all production areas, and to work as a first deputy in first year, and then as a head of department in stage management, lighting and sound, scenic art, and construction in second year on public performances in the College’s purpose-built theatre as well as other Fife theatre venues.
In year 2 you, will also undertake a two-week professional industrial placement which forms the bridge between the college experience and the profession.
