COURSE INFORMATION

This course offers you the opportunity to develop your technical skills, including operating systems, hardware, team working, and project management skills. It is suitable for a range of learners wishing to train for a career in technical support and for those who are passionate about building computers and networks with a focus on supporting networked computer systems.

You will develop a comprehensive range of knowledge and practical skills in computer technical support and, in year 2, there is a strong emphasis on security of systems. In addition to SQA certification, there are opportunities to gain industry-recognised vendor certifications through Microsoft, CISCO, VMWARE, and CompTIA.

On successful completion of year 1, you will receive an HNC in Computing.
