Lectures are very interesting, I enjoy the variety of topics and lecturers on the history course. Earlham park is beautiful and a great walk to pass. It’s so hard as a commuting student to make friends and getting to the university is an absolute nightmare, the parking on campus is absolutely ridiculously expensive, the free parking and ride service takes absolutely forever and I’m always late, I have to get up at 5:50 to make a 9am lecture when I live a 20 minute drive away, if I could afford the parking on campus I would do it as I would be on time and not stress. It is £13.50 for a time slot of 8:50-11

Great support if you want it and nice facilities, there is always something to do. Price is higher than I would like it to be.

As a mature student it was amazing to find such an excellent university within commuting distance to give me a great alternative to the open university

The staff are all very welcoming and nice. The campus is a bit like a maze and it's frustrating when your lectures and seminars are on opposite sides from one another, but even if/when you are late everyone is understanding. The library resources are amazing, especially the online ones. It feels like I have unlimited access to everything I could ever want. The food here tends to be ridiculously expensive though.

Love the opportunities that come from the uni, societies and sports thrive in a positive culture But I’ve never had a centralised location during my course, and the university administration services are often slow and make a lot of mistakes.
