Lovely staff and good student experience; generally needs diversification of staff, training and modules so that they are not so Euro-centric

Love the social aspects of campus life, however some parts of studying can be quite difficult, like keeping on top of workload.

The range of SU and social events is good, alongside the facilities within the university. The location of the university means there is little outside of the campus to do socially which is a shame, but it is close enough to London.

The campus is gorgeous and has a really cozy feel. Since it is a bit of a smaller uni, you often run into people you know while walking around campus which really adds to the community feeling. As a Masters student, I really appreciate that the campus is in the small town of Egham because it is quieter, but it is close to London so you still get so many opportunities to explore and enjoy yourself. In my course I have half of my classes in the London campus and half in the Egham campus and I think that is the perfect mix. I have also had fantastic experiences with my professors - you can get to know your professors well and meet with them if you put in the effort, and it makes the learning experience so much more personal. My only complaint as a postgrad would be that most of the events are marketed towards undergrads, but since undergrads make up most of the student body I understand why that demographic would be a priority. I have found the university support staff to be really helpful so far as well, so I would highly recommend Royal Holloway!

The Classics department community - it’s a great department is the best Lack of space in shared spaces like the library and cafes is the worst Could be improved by making more spaces or making current spaces bigger.
