Gain practical experience working with local organisations and institutions, and contribute to the preservation and interpretation of history.Study Spanish in small, supportive groups and explore the contemporary history of the Spanish-speaking world. Enhance your studies with a short placement in Costa Rica or Spain during your second year. And spend a year abroad in your third year, in which you could choose to undertake a British Council English Language Assistantship or continue your studies of history in Spanish at one of our partner universities, before returning for the final year back in Chester, where you will acquire valuable skills and knowledge in both history and Spanish for the business world, preparing you for a successful career where you can make a lasting impact.
