Be inspired by Hull’s rich political history and learn from expert academics, exploring the progress made by people, events and the government. Learning is not confined to the classroom in this course – you could get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness current politics first-hand on a three-month internship at Westminster.You could also study abroad for a semester at any of our partner institutions, exploring how history and politics continue to shape our wider world.

Where could this take me?You’ll graduate with practical experience of complex data analysis, negotiation, communication, teamworking and time management: all in-demand skills with potential employers.There are a wide range of roles available to you as a History and Politics graduate, such as political researcher, historian, museum conservator, researcher, or teacher. Hull graduates also work in journalism, the Civil Service, marketing, and law.
