This course is not just intellectually challenging and politically relevant its also entertaining inspiring and moving We want you to have more skills and abilities than those traditionally associated with history graduates So as well as developing your academic skills youll learn how to apply your historical knowledge to different rolesAs part of this course youll have the chance to do fieldwork at a range of locations from rural country houses to industrial Manchester Youll visit a variety of museums art galleries heritage sites and towns so you can explore the practical and intellectual applications of historyThere is a wide range of exciting and interesting law options for you to choose from depending on your interest in either private or public law allowing you flexibility in selecting options which compliment the other subjects you will study alongside LawFor example if you are studying Law and Criminology you may wish to study choose Criminal Law Law of Evidence and Police Powers and the Law for those with and interest in crime If youre studying Law and Business you may wish to select Contract Law Commercial Law Consumer Law or Corporate Law You also have the invaluable opportunity of developing your particular interests by studying a subject of your choice in more depth as part of your Independent Studies in your final yearThere is a wide range of exciting and interesting law options for you to choose from depending on your interest in either private or public law allowing you flexibility in selecting options which compliment the other subjects you will study alongside LawOptional foundation year Optional sandwich year
