A great campus near the city centre but lots of outdoor space to explore. Good facilities and supportive staff. Support for students with undiagnosed learning difficulties could be better, little support is available until you go through the assessment process and get your DSA in place which means you are on your own for quite a while. Took over a year to get anything put in place for me.

The University of Leicester is a fantastic place to study, with a diverse community, supportive staff, and strong resources for research and learning. The campus has a welcoming vibe, and the city offers plenty of student-friendly spots to unwind. However, more study spaces during peak times and streamlined student services would be great improvements.

Students have so many opportunities like volunteering, societies, being part of the student's union. It could be improved by offering more hybrid working - this would be beneficial to people with disabilities/long-term health conditions.

Hey there! My time at uni has been a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, I've had some truly amazing profs who have challenged me and helped me grow in so many ways. And I've also had the chance to make some really great friends who have made the experience all the more enjoyable. But it hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows. The workload can be pretty overwhelming at times, and the pressure to do well can be a bit stressful. Plus, I've noticed that the uni could be doing more to support students with mental health issues. I mean, it's something that affects so many people, right? All in all, though, I still think the uni is a fantastic place to study because of the top-notch education you can get and all the opportunities to meet new people and get involved in extracurricular activities. That being said, there's always room for improvement, and I really hope the uni takes steps to support students and create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone.

Uni is by a nice park and good bars. The gym is well priced and has good facilities. Don’t have any worse parts, just that Leicester is no where near a beach
