The fact that all of the lectures are at the top of their fields and so passionate about everything they cover. Plus, the fact everyone on my degree wants to be there and help each other, so it’s a real family feel. The wheelchair access can be a tad questionable at times, but as soon as issues have been raised they fix it asap

To begin with, I have not had any negative experiences at the university so far. From my initial days as a student, the environment has been welcoming, inclusive, and highly supportive, which made the transition into university life smooth and reassuring. One of the most impressive aspects of the university is the strong emphasis placed on student support. Beyond the well-maintained campuses and the approachable, knowledgeable academic and non-academic staff, the university provides extensive support systems tailored to students’ diverse needs. From the very start of university life, students receive guidance in managing their academics, understanding course expectations, and developing effective study strategies. In addition, the university offers structured support for managing finances, which is especially valuable for students adjusting to independent living. There are also dedicated services focused on student wellbeing, including support for managing stress and anxiety, ensuring that both mental and emotional health are prioritised alongside academic success. The university places significant importance on skill development, particularly in enhancing English language proficiency and academic writing. Through workshops, one-to-one sessions, and learning resources, students are supported in improving their communication and writing skills, which are essential for academic performance and professional growth. Overall, the university is genuinely student-centred and consistently strives to support students to the best of its capacity. It is committed not only to providing a high-quality academic experience but also to ensuring that students are well-prepared, confident, and equipped to transition successfully into their professional careers.
