University of Staffordshire

The University has lots of resources and study spaces. I love the fact that I can borrow a laptop for 24hours. There is a lot of student support in terms of CV writing and also academic support via mentors.

Im very new to my course, im completing an apprenticeship and was very nervous about starting such an intense course. Staff and tutors have been so supportive so far, they listen if i need to talk and have given as much advice and guidance as possible to make me not feel so overwhelmed. I feel comfortable knowing that if i do feel overwhelmed or stressed about something i can approach them for support

I trained from Staffordshire university as a social worker 7 years ago and now return to do social work practice educator course. I am loving the smaller campus as it easy to navigate, great staff, very approachable and supportive.

Improvements - more info on facilities and locations of such, more info on how to get involved in societies and groups etc. Good - rooms are clearly labelled, good staff communication, catering is good and shops are useful.

Th e University of Staffordshire is a great university to study in. The school has beautiful buildings, excellent facilities, the lecture area is great for learning. The IT services are great, I got to use the Beacon App which is like a guide to students. The student ID card can give you access to most of the buildings in school. it is also like a form of security. The school is located in a great area, with access to the train station, and other supermarkets that students can easily access. The school is easy to locate, especially for someone visiting for the first time. The student support is great and welcoming, they are kind especially to international students. they help with academics, any emotional or mental health problems. they also help students going through any form of economic hardships . They ensure that students are safe. The campus look and feel, the environment is clean, with recent technological facilities. A place to take nice pictures to make memories. The student life is great, a lot of activities to entertain the students, faith based organisations, great night life organised by the student union. Student Union, they represent the voice of the students, they organise orientations for new students to introduce them to the school. they help with any problem that affects students such as accommodation, academics, finances security. they make sure that the rights of students are protected. The University of Staffordshire is a great university to study, I always recommend it to people who ask me about great universities they can attend.
