The Global Healthcare Management MSc course aims to build the leadership and management capabilities for those wishing to pursue careers within healthcare, social care, and third sector organisations.
This course aims to support the enhancement of your personal/professional knowledge, abilities to think creatively and apply entrepreneurial skills to deliver quality health and social care services and respond to the global health challenges now and in the future.
The Global Healthcare Management MSc is offered as a full-time or part-time programme with three points of entry - January, May and September, dependent upon demand.
Students studying on the full-time (5 semesters) Global Healthcare Management with Professional Experience MSc course must, within the professional experience modules, undertake an internship2 with a host organisation (which may include Coventry University) or, alternatively, campus-based professional experience. Please note, this version of the course is not available to those students studying on a part-time basis.
You will be supported by an academic and personal tutor throughout your studies and receive individual or group supervision whilst undertaking the Transforming Healthcare Business Case Project
Applicants must normally be an Honours graduate of a clinical or health/social care related discipline with a 2:1 degree or above, obtained from a recognised university/HE institution, or hold an equivalent qualification acceptable to the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences in an area related to the named award. Applicants, whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in the English language equivalent to IELTS 7.0, with no components less than 6.5.
