There is a growing urgency to address the environmental crises driven by climate change, biodiversity loss, human population growth, land cover and land use change, and pollution. These crises are frequently covered in the media and governments have increasingly promised to take greater action to tackle them at both national and international levels. The Global Environmental Change and Planetary Health MSc has been developed in response to the growing urgency and global demand for experts in this field. It will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to: 1) Understand how these crises develop 2) Interpret the interactions and interconnections between the natural environment, human health and wellbeing underpinning planetary health 3) Provide you with the tools and strategies that can be used to work towards effective and sustainable environmental and solutions.
