Best: location, people and friendliness. Everyones happy to help. Campus is very green. And they just generally try hard. Worst: Brutalist architecture, slightly outdated facilities.

As an international student, what stood out the most to me is the students' support system and the students' community. However, some parts of the administrative departments and functions are not student-friendly so that is something that can be improved. Also, considering the distance from the campus to the city of Brighton, the living expenses on campus should be reduced. For instance, a wide range of student discounts or having a student price for coffee and tea (it's so basic human needs in the UK!) would very much be helpful for students.

I think a student is a sum of a lot of social and academic indicators. And the University of Sussex scores well across those indicators. Starting with the location—it is located in this beautiful city of Brighton, which has so much to offer. The student union has 100+ societies catering to everyone's interests. The faculty is very strong and cooperative. The concept of being able to audit another module that is not included in your coursework is a great way of enabling transdisciplinary learning. The easy access to equipment and books makes it even easier. And the reputation of the University of Sussex for its development studies adds the cherry on top for me, since my course is around the same context. I don't have the worst, but there are some technical issues that need major backend fixing when it comes to their university app.

studying environments are well set up, lots of facilities are very good campus itself has been a building site for years with bus re routes and noise disruption being only a few of the issues with this. STOP ADDING EXPENSIVE HOUSING!

I love the how inclusive Sussex is and the availability of all types of resources, especially mental health abd wellbeing resources. The distance of the school from town is inconvenient and the bus schedule is not ideal.
