Climate change, sustainability and geohazards – they’re some of the biggest challenges of our time and you’ll work with our expert team of academics and researchers to learn about the complex natural and human processes affecting the planet.You’ll study a mix of physical and human geography on this Royal Geographical Society-accredited degree – with the option to specialise as you progress – and put theory into practice far beyond the classroom on field work and residential trips to locations like Almeria, Tenerife and Iceland.The Foundation Year is an extra year of study at the start of your degree. It’s designed to boost your academic skills and knowledge of your specialistarea. When you successfully complete it, you can transfer seamlessly into the full degree programme.
