Based in Wales’s second largest city, Swansea University is renowned for its research reputation, teaching excellence and its unique seafront location. Established in 1920, the University will be celebrating its Centenary in 2020. The University has two campuses and comprises seven academic colleges that offer hundreds of undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees with opportunities to work and study abroad. The Singleton Park Campus is surrounded by leafy parkland and a five-minute walk from Swansea Bay beach, ideal for socialising with friends and playing sport. As well as being next to the beach and surrounded by parkland, both University campuses are only ten minutes either side of the city centre where you can enjoy the local attractions and nightlife. The university has been awarded a Gold Rating in the 2018 Teaching Excellence Framework.
