Aberystwyth University

Aberystwyth is a great place for students who love nature, its quaint and safe. I have gotten plenty of support from tutors, student services and student union. The location is beautiful, between the sea and mountains, but Aberystwyth is very poorly connected to other parts of the country, both by trains and roads. It can feel a little isolating, as its expensive and time consuming to go anywhere. Campus is on a hill which can be a challenge to disabled students, thankfully the university accommodated me with a custom parking pass. However, I would be miserable living here without a car. Facilities are very modern, so convenient but not very beautiful. However, the sea view always makes up for it.

Had a good time despite covid, and I feel as though the uni has really supported me. Reduced fees due to online learning would have been a better option though.

Good so far could do with more in person stuff, more support for trans people would be nice. Give more info about university services.

First year was a difficult year but overall ive now enjoyed the experjence. Aberystwyth gives you a great, rounded first university experience. The community feeling is amazing.

It's been really fun so far, stressfull at times but the uni has made me feel at home. I have really enjoyed my time at aberystwyath so far. Looking forward to see what the next semesters will bring!
