Alongside developing design ideas, you will gain hands-on experience with programming and visual scripting, ensuring you can build as well as design games. Collaboration is central to the course, reflecting industry practices. You will work alongside those on our Games Development course, simulating real-world studio environments. This provides opportunities to specialise, collaborate across disciplines, and bring creative ideas to life while developing teamwork, communication, and project management skills essential for a career in games.In the first year, you share core modules with our Games Development course, providing a broad introduction to key roles within the games industry. This flexible structure allows you to explore both design and development aspects before choosing a specialism.
