Knowledge and skills will be gained through activities and application to ‘real world’ business issues and opportunities. Practical aspects of people management, marketing, online business and finance will feature strongly in related modules.
Modules include: Academic and Research Skills Development, Principles of Marketing, The Business Economic Environment, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Human Resource Management, Enterprise and Employability Skills, Business Work Based Learning, Developing the Digital Enterprise, Marketing Communications, Principles and Practices of High Performance Management, Accounts for Business Managers.
Validated by the Ulster University this course provides you with an opportunity to progress to the final year of the business degree at Ulster University, particularly Magee Campus, subject to Ulster University entry criteria and the completion of summer bridging modules. It could see completion of a BSc Hons Business degree in 3 years (Full-Time) or 4 years (Part-Time). During the FdSc you will also have the opportunity to undertake additional qualifications in areas of ICT and Computerised Accounts - an exam fee is payable.
