Very supportive when in need and giving advice when unsure. One thing that could be improved is increasing the use of mentimeter, which includes like mini quiz here and there Dr. Claire Doilert, lectures are very engaging and enjoyable. Another area I really hope the university looks into is, some students asking other students to sign into their accounts to get their attendance checkin complete, I’ve had awkward experiences where some people have asked me but I simply refused as I can’t do something that goes against University policy and something that can get me in trouble. Please could you look at this and find a solution, thank you.

Bangor University is a great place to study because of its strategic module selections per department, with practical case studies to aid learning easy and precise. I also love the technology aided tools for both students and lecturers to access. However, in my previous semester, lectures were everyday with some taking place in the evening. I believe they listened to the students complaints that is why we have 2 days off from lectures which is great for students to refuel.

Areas for improvement While Bangor University provides a high-quality academic experience, there is room for improvement in expanding career support and industry exposure. More networking events, internships, and employer-led workshops would further help students prepare for competitive job markets. Improving transport links and increasing affordable accommodation options would also enhance student life, particularly for those new to the area. Overall Bangor University is an excellent place to study, combining strong academic support, a friendly community, and a beautiful setting. With further development in career opportunities and student services, it has the potential to offer an even more outstanding university experience.

Bangor University has a lot going for it as a place to study. The teaching quality is excellent, Uni Student Choice Awards and students really appreciate the personal attention they get from lecturers in small classes. The location is stunning too, nestled between Snowdonia and the Menai Strait, which is perfect if you love the outdoors. It's also much more affordable than most UK university cities, and everything on campus is within easy walking distance. The research here is top-notch as well rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. And the facilities are so good like library, sports areas, pontio etc... That said, there are definitely some things that could be better. The town itself is quite small, so there aren't many entertainment options - students would love to see things like a cinema or more shops, and part-time jobs can be hard to find. Some of the facilities, like laundry rooms, seem to break down more often than they should, and there have been issues with things like water supply in some halls. The Students' Union could also offer more engaging activities. Overall though, if you're looking for great teaching, strong support, and a beautiful, affordable place to study, Bangor has a lot to offer - it just needs to work on being more responsive to student needs and improving some of its facilities and local amenities.
