Fine Art and Theatre (Placement Year) BA Hons

Lancaster University

campus is very homely and lots of events all the time, the JCRs put on lots of different events so there is always something to do

Enjoying my course and the atmosphere here, could have some less expensive shops on campus :( Absolutely adore the opportunities provided by my college, good accessibility for events around the campus and a lot to do.

Best : lots of events on and a very homely feeling to living on a campus university. Worst : location can sometimes make travel very expensive.

It has a real community feel, unlike many city universities the campus feels like its own place. My courses have been very engaging and challenging so far. The facilities available to me as a fine art student are great, from the workshop, to editing suites, performance space and more. The tutors are extremely friendly and helpful. It remains a fantastic place to study with great amenities and facilities all within walking distance, all set within a lovely campus full of thriving nature spots.

The best is the campus, is a place with innovation. The quality of teaching is really good, with improvements in the academic area, in addition the student life is easy for those who are new, we can see a good understanding from the staff and teachers for those who are international students or are beginning a new chapter at the University. Finally, I believe that the university needs to change regarding the amount of tuition fee for international students and scholarships, the student financial department needs to have more options for those students in difficulties. Overall I would say that is a good educational institution.
