Teaching and assessment
You are taught through a series of lectures that are also made available online, as well as seminars and interactive group work.
Lectures introduce key theories, concepts and knowledge, which is discussed in seminar groups.
Our computer labs give you practical experience of using software to perform complex calculations and run realistic simulations. Econometric methods gives you the chance to apply econometric software to empirical research in development economics.

When you complete this programme there will be many different career pathways open to you. Your ambitions may be shaped by the optional modules you take during the course.
You might consider working as a consultant in the financial industry, or as a banker or quantitative analyst. Many other industries require financial and analytical expertise.
