Our HND in Film and Television aims to develop your skills to push you to direct pieces that connect with audiences. You will be asked to look at the meaning of images and sounds to create that bond with your viewers. Expand your knowledge and take the next step toward your creative future today. Build a professional portfolio on our HND Creative Media Production and you could be on track to collect a BAFTA. Beyond the film and TV industry, the world of the moving image continues to dominate 21st-century communications with video set to account for 82% of internet traffic by 2021, so there is no shortage of exciting opportunities. Gain skills in moving image and audio production, digital editing and design, camera operation and cinematography, and develop your ability to create documentary and drama productions that could lead to exciting careers in the film industry. One of the things that makes this course great is that you will get to look at a range of things to apply video to. From documentaries to brand commercials, video is an important element of a lot of things that are around us. Delve deeper into thinking about why people associate colours and sounds with certain objects and build on these psychological links to create pieces that the audience connects to.
ProgressionAfter completing this course, you will have the chance to top-up to the BA (Hons) Creative Practice course, study at the Hinckley Campus, and be awarded by Coventry University to complete your full degree.
