Whether you work for a police force, as an investigator for another body, or in justice and security, it’s ideal for professional development.You can choose a research question to investigate and will be supervised by our Institute of Policing. Our experts include former senior police officers and specialists in forensic investigation, psychology and criminology.Previous student research has covered a range of evidence-based policing topics, from the use of tasers through to restorative justice interventions and innovation in policing. It’s a chance to help shape policy and practice and reach a wider audience with your research.On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: MRes Evidence Based Practice
