Whether you want to take a personal interest in moral philosophy to another level, update your skills and knowledge to keep up with the ethical dimension of your profession, or are just looking for a challenge, this online, part-time course can fit into your life.

This programme is a distinct offering that draws on established strengths in postgraduate philosophy provision and current staff expertise.

What you will learn

The programme will draw on research active staff in the field of philosophy and ethics, including their professional experience in public service ethics consideration and in legislative and policy change, as well as develop the Lampeter humanities offer in a more work and skill orientated direction.

The programme will offer an opportunity for students to critically engage with key challenges of the 21st century workplace, alongside developing an understanding of the ways in which academic knowledge of ethics can inform everyday professional practice. This development of key skills and awareness within the workplace advances workplaces’ skills and capacities to contribute to new knowledge about social transformation and professional working behaviours.

Assessment Methods

This programme will be assessed through a blend of teaching assessments, including a final dissertation focused on a subject of your choice.
