The foundation year (Year 0) will precede our standard 3-year degree course programmes and enables preparation for degree study, with successful completion granting direct access to the undergraduate course of your choice at Writtle University College. You will enjoy extensive access to all of our facilities at our specialist equine campus and learn alongside industry experts.The Equine Performance and Business Management programme incorporates the key themes of applied science, development of specialist practical skills, management skills for various enterprises and business skills for all aspects of the equine industry. Students can select to focus their attention more on developing their stud or equitation knowledge. This programme will equip students seeking employment in the diverse equine sector, with a strong grounding in the essential areas relevant to a variety of potential career pathways.
