Fieldwork is a key element of the programme and field trips are aligned with our specialist modules, allowing you to gain skills and practical experience. You may go on day trips to the Peak District and Yorkshire Dales, as well as residential field courses in Denmark or the European Alps. Most trips are free, with students only needing to pay a modest administration fee.Small group teaching is a beneficial feature of this course and there are strong links between course content and staff research interests.
