Or why not focus geographically and culturally on writing from the USA, Ireland, Africa, India and the CaribbeanIn this degree you will also take a number of units relating to your chosen modern language. Adding a modern language to your degree means you can develop as a more effective communicator, acquire linguistic skills and develop a wider cultural awareness. You can choose from French, Spanish, Modern Standard Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.
