The atmosphere of the campus and the community is extremely welcoming. There are a range of opportunities to connect with others and tons of ways to develop your learning.

Pretty standard university, nothing too exceptional, a few of the older buildings are like Oxbridge but most are 1970s brutalist. Nice, open green campus with close proximity to both London and Oxford. Staff are brilliant but not enough full-timers most are part time. Societies are lively and a good range, most compete at a good/excellent level. Lots of Welsh students and southern Home Counties, plus Bristol/Bath overlap. Overall fairly decent reputation, outstanding Business, Agriculture and Meteorology departments. In summary, solid 2nd or 3rd choice for UCAS applications.

Some facilities seem to be working well enough but lack the continuous upkeep for them to run smoothly - for example the coffee machines tend to be mostly unkempt.

The campus is wonderful - the library is great, lots of green spaces for walks and it's nice to stop by the Student Union for bubble tea or bagelman. Not far from the main town and easy to get a train to London for a day out. Societies are great despite not always getting the best support from the Student Union.

I just love the community, and the people on campus, staff or students. and the atmosphere, it has the right amount of vintage and modern. the natural landscape is unmatched. I wish i had more theater lecture classes though!
