This course will provide you with a broad knowledge of engineering principles and methodology, supported by the development of analytical and research skills to prepare you for employment opportunities in the Mechanical Engineering field or further study at HND/degree level. Emphasis will be placed upon reflection, analysis, environmental impact, critical thinking and personal development. Modules will cover engineering design, maths and science, how to manage a professional engineering project and fundamentals of Thermodynamics and Heat Engines and Computer Aided Design (CAD) for Engineering amongst others.
