The BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering delivers the core and specialist principles of engineering to equip you with the skills required for an exciting career in this future-oriented sector that opens up international prospects.Graduate positions are available in the research, design and development of civil and military aircrafts, missiles, weapons systems, satellites and space vehicles. Aerospace engineers also work in testing and maintaining aircrafts and systems, and in improving efficiency (speed, weight, fuel consumption). In recent years, aerospace engineering has increasingly oriented towards sustainability, which is reflected by the many roles in the field that address its environmental impact. What's more, this course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
