Our course balances the related, but differing areas of electronic and electrical engineering. You’ll develop complementary skills to apply to a fast-paced, exciting industry.

- You’ll be taught by research active staff with many years of experience in industry. - Full-time students can take an optional 48-week sandwich placement in industry between Year 2 and Year 3. - Benefit from the latest high-quality equipment and facilities available through our new £35m Engineering Innovation Centre.

- Electrical and electronic engineering roles are part of a rapidly evolving industry, so your career options will be diverse. - Our Engineering Innovation Centre enables you to work on real-world projects with commercial partners in state-of-the-art facilities. - You’ll learn and thrive in our specialist engineering workshop and electronic and control system laboratory.

- This BEng is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.
