In addition to a Master's degree, you'll have the opportunity to gain the professionally-accredited Certificate in TESOL, which is awarded by Trinity College London. Preparation for the moderation visit by the Trinity Assessor includes a minimum of six hours' teaching practice, though you have the option of also spending up to three months on an educational placement. This will present you with a unique opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of people who do not speak English as their first language and appreciate 'what it feels like' for them to learn a new language.
