There is also a lack of clarity about the skills required by coaches and mentors, with policy documents often choosing to focus upon process rather than what it takes to be an effective coach/ mentor. Both of our MA Education coaching and mentoring modules provide greater clarity about what these terms involve, and how they can be delivered effectively within an education setting.Key featuresThrough our MA Education coaching and mentoring modules, you will have an opportunity to:Reflect on your own coaching and mentoring skills, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of provision within an education institutionsRelate theory to practice, and consider how your own practice – and that of your institution – could be enhancedLearn in a variety of ways, including through reflective practice, paired exercises, coaching practice, group discussions, reading, and individual researchShare your own experiences, and learn from other people’s some of whom will work in different sectors of education
