While you work towards this qualification, you’ll develop a broad understanding and awareness of the issues, concepts, ideas and theories that relate to education. We’ll work with you to identify your own interests in the field of inclusion and special education – supporting you to work towards your own personal career goals. You’ll explore a range of inclusion and special educational needs issues, including specific profiles like ASD, attachment, ADHD, mental health and dyslexia. You’ll also develop your own personal values and philosophies, while debating the opportunities and challenges for inclusion.Our Education, Inclusion and Special Educational Needs program prepares individuals for fulfilling careers in the education sector. Graduates of this program are well-suited for positions such as Special Educational Needs Teachers, Advisors, Coordinators (SENCo), Community Education Officers, Education Consultants, Learning Mentors, and Educational Psychologists.Students will have the opportunity to visit and work in a diverse range of educational settings, including special schools, children’s centres, assessment centres, further education colleges, and various language teaching contexts. Our strong relationships with local education providers ensure that students gain practical insights into different educational environments.
