My time at this university has been very good so far! The academic rigor and the quality of instructions provided are unparalleled. The courses are well structured offering a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Additionally the university commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment has enhanced my learning experience and outcomes. I highly recommend this institution for those seeking a comprehensive and high-quality education.

Amazing social environment, people are friendly. Lecturers are good. However more support with tasks would be helpful. One seminar teacher says something is correct and another seminar teacher says something is incorrect.

Coming from a harsh critic I can genuinely say that I feel at home at SOAS. I overheard someone once say that everyone at SOAS is "nice'- this was not an exaggeration. From the security guards, to the canteen staff, to the cleaning staff who are ever so helpful to new students who need help with finding their classrooms, the staff are delightful. Facilities wise- SOAS has everything a student could wish for- academically. The library is huge, I don't think one could ever get used to it, and the classrooms are cosy and comfortable. Honestly, SOAS gives students a warm and fuzzy feeling of belonging, the institution genuinely makes students want to discover and explore further. Although its currently going through some construction on the lower ground floor, where the gym should be, the other facilities seem fine, the canteen, study areas and even the prayer rooms seem perfect to me. I'm sure the construction workers at SOAS will fix the gymnasium in no time, I am quite eager to see the finished results. I couldn't have wished for a better location for a University- at the heart of central London, SOAS is located in between King's Cross and Oxford Street. Since there are many shops and businesses close by, workers are also needed in those places so students who wish to take on a part time job are also lucky. I, myself, have secured a part- time job 10 minutes away from my uni- how convenient! Unlike receptionist at other institutions, the receptionists at SOAS are ever so helpful, they might ask for the usual card check for security reasons but honestly they're willing to help students as much as possible. Canteen workers are super kind too, explaining exactly what's available on the menu and in the fridges, so that even the pickiest of esters can find something that they like. Don't get me started on the students that are here. They will talk to you about anything, making friends is super easy because the people are understanding, chill, outgoing and fun to talk to. The unions and societies are so inclusive even if it claims to be a society of a certain diaspora, in reality anyone can join. People are welcoming and supportive here. I am trying so hard to think of how mu uni experience could be improved but to be honest, everyone has an academic advisor, which is a professor that you can arrange a time to meet with, who gives you advice on academic work or any other uni related questions. I have been fortunate enough to nit suffer with any mental health issues but I am aware that on the ground floor, the student union reception offers counselling sessions or advisors for anyone who does struggle. There's even assistance offered for those who live in accommodations. So it seems like all aspects of uni life is covered and taken care of at SOAS, there's a department for everything.

The people are really friendly. They support you alot with your future careers and aspirations. The staff also are very helpful .

The best would be the faculty. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable, and well versed in their respected fields. It makes our learning experience far more enhanced, while being welcomed to ask questions. Something to improve on would be perhaps to make schedules slightly less packed.
