Our emphasis is on the critical issues of energy transition and climate change that are transforming global economies. The Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment MSc provides a broad yet in-depth understanding of energy, climate, and related environmental issues. The wide-ranging curriculum prepares you for many future career paths in sustainability, including business, consulting, finance, policymaking or research. Based in a leading sustainability institute, it extends your skillset beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries, combining quantitative economics with policy expertise and global perspectives on energy and climate change. The course equips you to apply interdisciplinary analytical approaches — such as energy scenarios and microeconomics, political economy and innovation theory — to real-world energy, climate, and environment challenges in business, finance and policy.
