Our teaching is at the forefront of the field and is influenced by real industry insights. All academics within our School of Economics are research-active and some are advisers to world-renowned organisations. Our award-winning Professional Training placements prepare students for roles in industry. Our BSc (Hons) Economics and Mathematics course takes core components of economics and blends these with modules that cover those aspects of mathematics that are most relevant for economists. By the end of the course, you’ll have a highly sought-after mix of skills, equipping you to solve real-world problems in economics, finance, business and public policy. We offer careers information, advice and guidance to all students whilst studying with us, which is extended to our alumni for three years after leaving the University.
