Course description

This degree combines essential economics and management knowledge to enable you to understand how organisations develop and implement competitive strategies in domestic and international markets.It fosters an understanding of organisational dynamics and their economic interactions, emphasising practical applications and real-world examples. Our economics teaching team includes experienced practitioners, well-respected authors, and Global Economic Service (GES) assessors. Learning from them provides a unique opportunity to gain insights from those involved in hiring for the prestigious Government Economic Service – the largest employer of economists in the UK.The programme offers comprehensive business knowledge encompassing the science of management functions and decision-making. You will be taught by experts from Aston Business School which is part of an elite group of global business schools that hold the gold standard of ‘triple-crown’ accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.
