You’ll examine issues in local and international contexts and explore concepts such as play, early years practice, and supporting children's wellbeing. We ensure that you have maximum flexibility on your course while still retaining a clear focus on the study of early childhood. Your modules are designed to provide you with essential knowledge and understanding for your future career, such as ensuring you are well-versed in children’s rights and protection and develop insights into effective teamwork. This course is designed to meet the professional and personal needs of those working within the early years sector. On successful completion of this year-long course, you can progress to the final year of the Foundation degree in Early Childhood Studies if you choose.
