I’d like to start by saying I originally began studying at another university - which I didn’t like so I moved to Coventry university. By far the best decision I made! The amount of help you can receive is amazing here. Whether you’re going through personal issues or struggling with university work or life there is always help available. You have the option to reach out to your success coach who sends frequent emails to ensure you’re okay. It’s really helpful. There is also options to book in for help with references or finding resources at the library which is incredibly useful! Especially in the run up to your assignment dates! The location is great. In the centre of the city, with access to so much around it. The Hub is brilliant and close to so many buildings - this is where you can eat or go for some support or if you have any questions. The library is open 24/7 which is so useful. There is accommodation close by to all buildings which is great. There is always so many events and things to take part in as a student to make your university experience enjoyable , and also gives the opportunity to make a lot of friends. There’s always union reps around the campus who can help you with things, and if you ever can’t find them they’re always available in the Hub so they’re easily accessible. I’ve found that all my lecturers are very friendly and easy to talk to and ask for help - something which I have found really helpful. Coventry doesn’t have a massive night life so for students looking for that may struggle - although the university and the student unions provide so much fun and activities that there is always something to do. I wouldn’t say this is anything wrong with the university itself it’s more of a comment on the city. I would also mention that the parking at the university is a struggle for students who may drive. They have a couple of student car parks for £3 a day. However you need to get there at about 8am to get a space , and all my lectures are at 10 so I then have to park in a different car park which is £8 a day - which is a lot for a student! Also Coventry itself may not always look the nicest however the campus and the newer buildings definitely brighten up the city and give a nicer feel to the area. Overall a brilliant university and would highly recommend!

Best experience is help and support from lectures and library staff, having the time and availability to support academically and emotionally. The course has no break or space for assignments and content is learnt upto the week before assignments and due making it difficult to incorporate new content when all 3 modules are due within a week of each other.

I love being at Coventry University, my course is perfect and there are plenty of different sports and societies to keep you busy outside of lecture time! I am part of the cheer and dance group at uni and it's one of the best things I could have done with my time at university
