Our course explores the effective design and development of modern medicines. Drug delivery and nanomedicine is a competitive and fast-growing research area. It is driving emerging healthcare concepts including:advanced drug targetingprecision medicinetheranostics.You'll gain research training and skills to work in the global pharmaceutical sectorYou'll have the flexibility to develop your own bespoke course. This is available through a broad range of taught modules. You'll then begin a 24-week research project in drug delivery and nanomedicine research.The MRes is suitable for graduates of:pharmacypharmaceutical sciencesrelated life sciencesphysical sciencesengineeringIt is also for intercalating and qualified MBBS or BDS students.Our teaching is research-based. A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent, in: pharmacy, biomedical science, pharmaceutical sciences, physical sciences, engineering or related discipline or an MBBS/BDS degree. This programme accepts both medical and dental students wishing to take a masters degree as an intercalation. You will need to have successfully completed your third or fourth year of study. Practical laboratory work experience is desirable, although not essential. The modules you can study may depend on your academic background.
