Details

As a minimum, applicants should hold or be predicted to achieve the equivalent of the following UK qualifications: a first-class or a strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a four-year undergraduate degree (to the level of a master's degree) in a relevant subject, or a first-class or a strong upper second-class undergraduate degree with honours in a three-year BSc/BA degree and a master's degree with distinction in a relevant subject. For the qualifications above, relevant subjects typically include computer science or mathematics. Students require either a distinction in a master's or a four-year undergraduate degree. A four-year sandwich degree with one year spent in industry is not an acceptable equivalent. Please note that entrance to the course is very competitive and most successful applicants have a first-class degree or the equivalent. For applicants with a degree from the USA, the minimum GPA sought is 3.6 out of 4.0.
