Economic ResearchWe are proud that our research interests of the centre maps onto 7 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Our applied research activities and projects span a broad range of topics covering econometrics, microeconomics and macroeconomics from national and international perspectives. From investigating how economies and institutions work to using modern analytical tools tand techniques to develop better understandings, models and indicators our applied research conducted under Economics can be in any area of our expertise.
The minimum entry requirement for registration to the degree of MRes, MPhil, or MRes/MPhil with the intention of transferring to PhD is a first or second-class Honours degree from a UK university or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account the nature and scope of the proposed programme of work.
