Underpinning this is the continual need to design and develop technological solutions to a broad range of ever-evolving problems. This encompasses a range of digital and communications based solutions centred on the acquisition, storage, manipulation, retrieval and dissemination of data.**Every learner will have the opportunity to develop: - Web design and development skills in HTML, CSS and client-side scripting;- Systems analysis skills;- Database design and development skills within Microsoft Access and MYSQL/PHPMYDMIN;- Use of virtualisation technologies;- Network design and development skills – both local and business scale networks;  - Network security and basic cybersecurity skills in protecting a business scale network;  - Server side programming skills for e-commerce development. This includes the ability to manage and maintain large sets of data, as well as the application of advanced data analytics which rely on the application of artificial intelligence, and the fundamental digital skills required by employers in 2021 and beyond. This course is designed to give you a tailor-made, modern qualification, which covers a range of skills and technologies to help you achieve your dream career or progress in your current employment. This course is primarily designed for face-to-face learning, with attendance during lessons for the specified hours within the validation document. However, there may be periods of study where the government advises TEC Partnership that it is not safe to open campuses, or there is limited access due to social distancing measures. If the campus is closed, TEC Partnership will deliver your sessions online and offer you the necessary support and resources remotely. If there is limited access due to social distancing measures a blended model will be adopted, with some lessons taking place in small groups and others using online sessions and support. We will make decisions on the delivery hours for each programme as government advice becomes clearer. For the placements in your programme, TEC Partnership will do everything it can to ensure you have the opportunity to complete the placement element of your programme and/or potentially, where possible, amend the programme, removing the requirement for placement (or part thereof) if required.
