As a student immersed in the dynamic world of university life, I find the experience to be nothing short of transformative. One of the most striking aspects is the rich tapestry of academic opportunities. From the arts to the sciences, the diverse array of courses allows me to explore my interests and shape my educational journey with flexibility and curiosity.

The university itself is very modern and has amazing equipment available to students. For a student like myself who might struggle to afford equipment to use for an assignment or simple class tasks there is equipment available for me to use anytime and easy to get ahold of. It’s amazing to even be handling some of the equipment during my day to day classes. Currently going through my first year and the worst aspect has been some of the communication between lectures and students. Things like if classes are on because of a reading week as such has been a recent struggle as none of us were told and we had an issue getting in contact with the lectures if classes were still running. But it’s the start of the year so fingers crossed things run and little bit more smoothly and organised through the rest of the academic year.

London Metropolitan University, located in the heart of London, offers a diverse and enriching learning experience. With a diverse student body and strong industry connections, it provides a vibrant educational environment. While there are many things I love about this university, there are some areas where it could use improvement. Clearer communication, consistent course availability (especially during reading week as some tutors are giving classes as usual and others are not) and better facilities are important. It would be great if the canteen could offer a more varied menu weekly rather than the same always, like on Fridays when there is always fish and chips. Additionally, as a part-time student with work commitments, I would appreciate more academic support related to the class content covered in a day. Implementing proactive mental health initiatives, such as regular well-being surveys, would be an important step forward. In short, London Metropolitan University is a fantastic place to learn and these improvements could make it even better.

The best aspect is teaching - all the modules are based on applying knowledge to practice to prepare students for real world challenges.

I think this university is good for me. It's provide lots of facilities and opportunities to me as well as our students. The teachers are very supportive, they teach very well to our students. Moreover, the staff members also very helpful. Overall, this university provide many opportunities to our students that they improve our confidence and knowledge.
