Studying our MA in Digital Media and Society will provide you with a comprehensive grounding in digital media technologies and their influences on society, culture, politics and human psychology. You will gain in-depth knowledge of key approaches and developments associated with digital media and you will be trained in the most innovative research methods to carry out research about digital media, both offline and online. The course combines core modules and option modules from a selection of specialist subjects. You will also complete a dissertation based on individually supervised research. This Masters degree will demonstrate to potential employers that you have a high level of knowledge in your particular area, which can set you apart from others in the job market. As the course has a strong emphasis on research methods and training, you will develop a range of research, communication, IT, data analysis and presentation, problem solving and other transferable skills which will are directly applicable to the professional world.
