In addition to mastering cutting-edge data analytics methods, you’ll gain a practical understanding of how these principles and concepts can be applied in the fields of HR and people management. The course will develop your skills in ‘data translation’. You'll learn how to identify people-related business problems, understand how analytics can provide solutions for these problems and identify and explain actionable insights. You’ll learn alongside inspirational academics, highly qualified teaching staff with extensive research expertise and consultancy experience in the field of HR analytics. You’ll gain knowledge and understanding of advanced HRM concepts. Course Highlights This course is shaped by the latest knowledge and critical thinking. Your learning will be informed by cutting edge research into the use of data and analytics in HR, developed at the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA), as well as specialist research from the Centre for Employment Relations, Innovation and Change (CERIC). Gain valuable, real-world insight from high profile industrial guest speakers. Recent speakers have included the former Head of HR for NHS England. Graduate with the skills to tackle complex HR and organisational problems through a combination of knowledge of the theory and practice of strategic HRM, and applied statistics and data analysis skills. On all Masters courses at Leeds University Business School you’ll have an opportunity to apply for a place on a week-long international study tour which will include company visits, guest lectures and networking events, as well as an opportunity to visit local places of interest.
