Extending lab availability or expanding specialist cyber security resources would further strengthen the course. The programme provides a solid foundation in core topics, but offering more advanced or specialised modules in areas such as cloud security, advanced penetration testing, or malware analysis could make the course even more competitive and future-focused. Overall, Nottingham Trent University provides a supportive and practical learning environment for MSc Cyber Security students. Nottingham Trent University is one of the most modern universities, with a strong focus on industry links and work experience, which helps students secure employment after graduation. The area is very clean, and the staff are friendly and supportive. The only downside at the Clifton Campus is parking, which is limited both on campus and in the surrounding area.
